          The Nicene Creed              

We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. 

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made human. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried. The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again with glory  to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father and the Son, and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. He spoke through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come. Amen.

Mark brings more than 25 years of ordained ministry experience, serving as both a pastor and a care leader with parachurch organizations. He also has five years of experience in chemistry research, analysis, and teaching. 

Mark’s passion for integrating biblical theology with scientific study has shaped his unique approach to ministry, grounded in a Christian worldview. 

Mark has a MS in Chemistry from UNL and a M.Div. from Fuller. He's also earned his D.Min. from Denver Seminary in Leadership and Community Spiritual Formation, with focus on how parents can cultivate a formational culture of growth and gratitude for their families.

Mark has published several articles, has spoken, nationally and internationally, and loves designing and leading soul care experiences and retreats. 

His passion is to guide spiritual leaders—individuals, couples, and groups—to experience God and embrace their belovedness. As they do, they can mature holistically in Christ and see their leadership bear the Spirit's lasting fruit. 

Mark and his wife Leigh Ann have been married for 25 years and live in Colorado Springs, CO. They enjoy hiking, exploring mountain towns, and eating good ethnic food. They also love living an active life with their three teenagers.

"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting  people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of  reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors
